Happy Monday you guys!
It’s a new week (duh). I literally jumped out of bed this morning, because today is a very exciting day! I’ll tell you everything about it very soon so stay tuned (if you follow me on Instagram, you already know). But before all the exciting-ness I’m heading to work.
This outfit is from yesterday where I had a proper Sunday starting with breakfast in bed, then sofa-shopping, and then with a Pumpkin Spice Latté in hand I went for an afternoon walk with Mie. As she lives in FiDi we figured a walk over Brooklyn Bridge to Dumbo would be just right. It was such amazing fall weather, sunny with a certain crispness in the air (although NYC hasn’t quite understood that it’s fall. The leaves are still green and the sun still pretty warming), and the Pumpkin Spice Latté was perfect to get me even more into the fall spirit. You all know by now that I loooooove this time of year. As soon as summer is over, I start looking forward to this cozy season and the holidays. Such. Cozy. Times. Yesterday was just one of those days I’ll put into my mental memory book. No expectations, a good amount of relaxing, a good amount of girl-talk, a good amount of D-vitamin, and a long walk.
This outfit is basically all I had from packing down everything (big hint of today’s event) so although I most of all felt like wearing an NYC Sunday darling: the “sporty leggings, sneakers, cashmere sweater, leather jacket, cute bag, and big sunglasses”-outfit, I ended up looking like I just came from the office. But whatever, I felt quite comfortable anyway. The trench coat I got in a second hand store in Brooklyn over a year ago and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s a little oversized, but tie in in the waist making it very feminine.
Now go kick some ass and make this week unforgettable!
